My name is Sarah and I have been making 12th scale dolls' house dolls for about 8 years now. I started making them because I couldn't find any miniature dolls I liked in shops. I try to make my dolls as lifelike as possible and each one has their own little character.
I can make a doll to your requirements; I make ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls, and babies. I make all historical periods too - Victorian, Edwardian, Regency, Georgian, English Civil War, Medieval, Tudor or 20th century.

KT Miniatures specialise in old 1930s and 1940s dolls houses and furniture, and usually have some interesting old dolls for sale. Swallowhill Miniatures have some very good dolls and doll kits, plus their site contains step by step projects for your dolls' house.
If you ever get the chance to visit, go to Nostell Priory near Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The house is beautiful and they have an eighteenth century dolls' house with its original fittings and very old dolls. The most amazing dolls house I have ever seen is Titania's Palace, which I saw in Denmark many years ago. The photos don't really do it justice.
Looking for inspiration for your own dolls' house? The BBC homes website has lots of ideas for recreating different period styles. This site goes even further; it's got a wealth of information about Victorian history, fashion and interior design. If the Regency period is more your thing, you should check out Pemberley - a refuge for Jane Austen addicts and obsessives to mix with our own kind!
The Victoria Regina Tarot by Sarah Ovenall has nothing to do with dolls, I just really like it. A beautiful work of art and a fascinating book.
It wouldn't be a proper links section without a nod to our best friends - Luna Photography for beautiful photography in Leeds.
